For owners of DSLRs (interchangeable lens cameras) looking for a grounding in photo technique and camera control for better pictures of people, places and things. Using original images I'll show you how and when to imploy different camera settings for effect and offer compositional tips and positioning strategies to improve your portrait, sport/action, landscape and even flash images. For someone who has a Canon Rebel, which workshop would you recommend to take, this one of the canon rebel series one? I'm not sure which is more beneficial. Thank you.

Rita, to add to what Phil states if you are interested in camera controls and photo technique for using them this is a good class. if however you are looking to stay in auto and just get some tips consider switching to the point and shoot class. Contact either one of us at the store to switch or for more info...

I think I may have signed up for the wrong class. I have a Canon Power Shot 30 - not a DSLR. Will any of the class instruction help me with my camera? If not, I will not attend and let someone else have my spot. Thank you.

Hi Rita, I think you'd get some good info from this class as far as basic exposure, light management and shooting tips still apply to your particular camera.

Hello Anthony. Yes I think it would be a great way to start learning about camera controls and shooting techniques. The class runs from 7pm to 9pm.

Hi Jess. I'm a Nikon D80 owner using an[masked] kit lens and would like to develop my camera skills beyond relying on "Program" mode to get that great shot. Is this a one night course and how many hours is it? Thanks!
