Vacation street photography

Vacation pictures can be more than shots of pretty places. Don't forget to photograph the people! Learn some techniques for better shots of people at work, play or in-between with almost any digital camera while on holiday. Using shots made with a Nikon Coolpix A on vacation in Italy, Milford Photo's Jess Thompson will show you how to evaluate ambient light, visualize the image, and set your camera for best results so you'll come home with some great images of people and a humanistic narrative to your travel album.

This event is free to the public. During the month of April a collection of Jess' Italian street images will be on display at the library.

Good intro to vacation photography. Jesse did a good job not only on photo technique, but spent some time discussing mirrorless camera options which was helpful.

We just grab a coffee and speak French. Some people have been coming every week for months... it creates a kind of warmth to the group.
