Where's the fence?!? Nice!!!!
was wondering the same thing
Before I started shooting, I just watch the tiger pace back and forth along the fence. I noticed that every once in a while, he would divert and walk up through the middle of the cage, turn around, and go back to pacing along the fence.
I set up around the corner at the far end of the cage, and after a few more paces, he obliged, and walked over and started using the log as a scratching post.
But where's the fence? Haha... no matter what I tried, I still got the fence. Do you know the settings? I live around the corner from the Zoo (literally around the corner) and would love to go back to see if I can do it.
I had my 70-300 zoomed to 300, and the aperture was wide open at 5.6 - there was enough distance between the tiger and the fence, that the fence was sufficiently blurred out...
