There's cookbooks, but the best recipes are the one's tried and true and recommended by others. I'd like to compile this as a spot for some everyday recipes we can all share to give each other ideas. I'm going through a bit of a burnout so I'm hoping for some new ideas and figure I can't be the only one.

This site is whack = my third attempt to post.

Taco Soup:

2 cups mixed dried beans, prepped like usual. I like to use at least 4 types.
chopped onion, celery, carrots, peppers, about 2 cups total
2 envelopes of Sazon Goya seasoning - small box in the ethnic isle
1 can V-8
2 cans diced tomato
1 can diced tomato with green chilies
water to desired consistency - I like it soupy
a drizzle of sugar ( sounds weird, but cuts the acidity)
several grinds of pepper
1 pkg taco seasoning
simmer, the longer the better
add a few handfuls of barley the last hour for added texture
