I think it's always nice to reconfirm with others how they are using their software to solve problems, especially with such a new and changing media area. It's easy to get into your own little bubble of process in your own workplace and not realize how others are doing things.

This was a good time as always, though it was more a reaffirmation that I do utilize a good workflow with illustrator. Never leave home without it! :D

I agree with Kevin, all groups should be accommodated. one may find something useful just by hearing it phrased by someone else........
I found the space to be very accommodating. Parking was great....

Good presenter, but content was a little basic

While it may have been basic for you, that is the nature of User Groups. We have to accommodate all skill levels. It can't always be an advanced topic.

Any chance of future MeetUps on a different night?

      April 4, 2013

    • Kevin S.

We have been hosting on Tuesdays once and a while. The last one unfortunately was not our control to schedule and this one we had to work with Justin's very busy schedule. We are going to record and post this one for the first time.

I don't suppose anyone would be interested in car pooling this event, I normally take the bus everywhere I go, but sadly they only reach as far as Green Bay Rd and Silver Spring. :(

I'm not sure what route you need to take but if it is ON Green Bay there may be a stop at either Bender, Civic or Florist. All of those would then be a 1-3 block walk to where we are located. Not sure if this helps any...

    Hi Ang,

We have been having them on different nights throughout the season. Mainly Tues/Wed. Mondays are hard to schedule but perhaps a Thursday?
