Topic: Fear of failure vs fear of success
The path to success at anything in life passes through many fears. The most famous fear is the fear of failure, which develops as we become socially aware.
The fear of failure is the fear that we will not "make the grade" and will not be accepted socially.
Many people are not aware this fear has a twin brother - the fear of success.
Practice: Mindfulness of breathing meditation
Tuesday evening is a 90min drop in class suitable for all levels. The class provides an introductory talk, followed by group sharing and discussions and a period of practice (aprox.20min). The talk incorporates practical findings in neuroscience, psychology, medicine and contemplative traditions.
We practice Mindfulness Meditation, mainly mindfulness of breathing. The main purpose of this meditation is to strengthen the attention and calm the mind. People that practice mindfulness meditation say that they feel less stressed and more energized.
Connect and network with like-minded people and practice meditation in a group settings!

I am certified as a Mindfulness Meditation teacher, by Santa Barbara Institute for Consciousness Studies. I was taught by B Alan Wallace, Phd and Paul Ekman, Phd. I am also an MBSR (Mindfulness Based Stress Reduction) teacher, certified by Swiss Mindfulness Association. I have an educational background as a psychologist, with interest in brain and mind interventions and have a regular meditation practice. I offer services for individuals, organizations and community at large.
