This 1-hour drop-in meditation group is offered
to the community for a dana of $7-$10 per person.
Together, the group sits for two twenty-minute guided meditations facilitated by Lori Granger of The Center for Mindfulness. This group is suitable for experienced meditators as well as those who are trying meditation for the first time ever!
The room meditation studio features fifteen standard chairs and eight zafus/zabutans (sitting cushions) for those who prefer to sit on the floor.
Space is VERY LiMiTeD -- and having an accurate head-count is of the utmost importance in a meditation environment. PLEASE TAKE A SECOND TO JOIN OUR MEETUP GROUP AND RSVP. Sign-up takes only about 25 seconds.

We understand that many people do not want to sign up for "yet another" item that ends up in their email box. However, those who sign up for the MeetUp group are alerted when we need to cancel a session or are hosting at a different location. We don't like for guests to make the (sometimes long) drive only to find that we are not there. We promise NOT to SPAM you, and we can even show you how to customize your MeetUp settings to minimize the amount of reminder emails that come to your inbox.

Mindfulness Meditation Drop-In
1) Travel eastbound down Shaw just past the Palm intersection
2) Look for the NO RIGHT TURN sign -- this sign is just past the driveway where you want to turn. Be sure to decrease speed and use your turn signal upon approaching the driveway. Turn RIGHT down the driveway JUST BEFORE THE SIGN.
3) There is a parking at the end of the driveway. Always leave one parking space for our neighbor at A New Leaf Therapy.
4) Walk through the corridor between offices, and make a right to find Suite E. You will seeThe Center For Mindfulness logo on the front door and a reception room with chair just inside. We ask that everyone silence or shut off their mobile phones. Keep in mind that "vibrate" mode is still very loud in a meditation setting and will disturb those around you. You can leave your shoes on the bench just outside of the Meditation Studio and hang your purses/coats on the hooks inside the studio door.
