"Mingle, Eat, Drink, & Be Merry...and your kids too!" That's right- kids are welcome in this group of fun single parents. This group is for those that are looking for a group for single parents and kids. Who are also yearning for something a little different...not your typical single parent play date. Think "play date for single parents..with a kick!" Expect to go to wine tastings- in a very appropriate family friendly environment ofcourse. We will have parties in venues with dinner and dancing! (Early enough to get little ones to bed at a decent hour) Venues are going to be unique- so please know that we will only host a few park events. After trying to find out-of-the-box things to do with my son (now 4 years old) I realized that I was often the only "single" parent. Single parenting is no longer the rarity, but becoming more and more prevalent. So my hope is that though this meetup, we can not only accept/embrace our situation- but ENJOY it and make the journey more enjoyable for our children too. It's about finding enjoyable things for them to do…that we as grown-ups can also enjoy. Whether you are a single parent by choice, newly single, have teenage children or babies- this group is for all of us single Mom's or Dad's wanting to find some wholesome, healthy, unique fun, and have our little ones join the fun! Let's Mingle!
