Purina Product Warning

Hello all,

I am only forwarding along information that I received as part of a rescue group. I did not write, research, or have an opinion on the following attached document, but thought I should forward it along regardless as it could be important for some of you assuming it is indeed true. You can't be too cautious. My apologies for 2 emails in one day, just wanted to get this information out to as many animals lovers as possible - just in case!

Regards,
Amber

PURINA FOODS
KILLING ANIMALS

As per www.consumeraffairs.com - There are MANY reports of animals dying from Purina Pet Foods.

I would avoid ANY pet foods made by Purina ? The problem seems to be across the board in their foods, and Purina hasn?t got the conscience to identify specific Brands/Flavors they have been informed about. So, it seems it is impossible to trust them on any of their foods. There are hundreds (thousands ?) of documented reports of pets dying or becoming very sick after eating Purina Foods. (See a few examples below)

Why hasn?t this hit the major news media yet? Because Purina has been refusing to admit any guilt ? and IGNORING LEGAL PROTOCOLS FOR EXAMINING AND REPORTING THESE CONTAMINATED FOODS.
And, because Ralston Purina is part of Nestle. Nestle is a MAJOR conglomerate of Products (Even including L?Oreal, Jenny Craig, Baby Foods, etc). They spend Billions on Advertising each year. Money talks. It may be hard to get the media to act on this ? because I don?t think any media outlets want to chance losing their advertising money. Maybe if LOTS of people hit them with this info ? and their outrage - it might work.

Following is a list of SOME Petfoods made by Purina:

ALPO DOG FOOD
BEGGIN? STRIPS DOG SNACKS
BENEFUL DOG FOOD (This was ?quietly? recalled 2 years ago by Purina because of dogs dying, but is back on the market again, and STILL killing dogs)
