Did you know Minnesota Atheists participate in a Highway Cleanup program? It's true! We have a little sign with our name on it up in Rice, MN. To keep that sign, we must clean the highway at least twice a year. Bring your sturdy shoes and a pair of gloves if you have them, and pretty up Rice with us.
We will meet in the parking lot of the Creamery restaurant located on the West side of HWY 10 and the stop light in Rice. Some of us will have brunch at the Creamery at noon. Inexpensive breakfast buffet or order off the menu. The clean-up takes two to three hours depending on the number of volunteers. Please wear sturdy shoes, bags are provided and stylish orange vests.
