Happy Hour - Pagoda Dinkytown - Jun 24 7 p.m.

The Pagoda Dinkytown offers Happy Hour Specials all day Wednesday and Thursday. This includes 2 for 1 prices on all bottle beers, Tunnel of Elams Red and White Wines and Gekkeikan Sake. You can also double your appetizer for 99 cents.

Their menu includes over 300 items from China, Indonesia, Malaysia, Japan, India, and Korea. Their menu can be found here: http://pagodadinkytow...

If you haven't been to an event before, this can be a great chance to meet a dozen or so atheists in a welcoming setting. The food is also cheap as well as tasty! We will split up into other tables if we need to.

Parking can be tricky. There is street parking around the restaurant for $1.25 per hour. The parking lot for the restaurant is located by driving through the McDonald's parking lot. The wall you will park behind will be painted orange. That parking is free, but limited to a dozen spaces.

If traveling by bus, the 6 lines runs right by the restaurant on 4th St and will connect downtown. U students should be familiar with the area, as the restaurant is located in Dinkytown.

While this is a social event, there will be a discussion topic: The Price of Atheism. What choices have you had to make because you are an atheist you wouldn't have to make otherwise? The topic will be open.

Please RSVP so people will know which table to look for, and so I can let the restaurant to know how many people to prepare for.

See you there!
Bjorn

I had a great time eating and meeting everyone. I look forward to future events I can come to. I especially loved having discussions about topics and I didn't have to hold back my opinions.

I had a great time with new people, even though Cody forgot his left overs.

Quiet and easy going, mostly general conversation with no real direction. Fun time and I would do it again for the acquaintance and building of new friendships.

It's always great to enjoy good food with people and talk about whatever you have on your mind.

I'm surprised by the level of growth I've seen since becoming an organizer, it's given me more confidence in my abilities.
