Social Science at the Science Museum

Social Science is an adult night at the Science Museum of Minnesota, welcoming those 21 and over to grab a drink, enjoy the museum, and experience innovative programming.

You must present a valid 21+ ID to gain entrance to the museum.

Murder at the Museum: A body is discovered at the museum late at night, and all signs point to foul play. It's on you, lucky gumshoe, to gather the forensic skills, clues, and savvy to solve the crime. Get the real story from forensic scientists in the field as you learn to dust for fingerprints, interpret blood spatter, and more.

Social Science can get busy, so it might be a good idea to get tickets in advance. We'll meet by the ticket booth at 6:00 and go in as a group at 6:10.

Call their Reservations Department at (651)[masked] or (800) 221-9444. Reservations Department hours:
 Tuesday - Saturday: 8 a.m. to 5 p.m.
 Sunday: 9 a.m. to 2 p.m.
 Closed Monday

Advanced tickets must be purchased at least 2 hours before your visit. There is a $3/person service fee for non-members.

Skip the box office line. Book and print exhibit and show tickets at home. Online tickets will be emailed to you in a PDF file. There is a $3/person service fee ($1 for members).

For those of you who couldn't stay to hear "whodunnit" the culprit was...Check out MN Science Museum's Facebook page for the crazy MNA group photo! Thank you to all the amateur sleuths who came out for a really fun night at the Science Museum. And thank you Dan for doing such a great job keeping everyone together! Is anyone else covered head to toe with fingerprint dust? Oh, okay.... the culprit was Dr. Artie Doyle!

Cossetta is 5 minute walk from the museum. It's a cheap/good Italian.

Anyone want to meet at Cossetta at 5:30 for quick dinner? Let me know. I will be there probably anyway., but if you let me know, I will make sure to be there. I'm a tall Asian dude. I'm also attending the Maya exhibit at 3 PM.

We signed up for this last time but arrived a little late so we missed meeting up with everyone. Still had fun checking out the exhibits, hope to actually connect this time around :)
