Blasphemers' Brunch/Radio Repast at Q. Cumbers, Sundays, 10:30 a.m., Edina
Now a weekly event! Listen to Atheist Talk every Sunday at 9 a.m. on KTNF 950 AM, then join the cast and crew at Q. Cumbers (one of the show's sponsors).
Sunday at 10:30 a.m. is a great time to enjoy the all-you-can eat buffet at Q. Cumbers. The food is plentiful, with a wide variety of choices whether you're in the mood for breakfast or lunch, and there's plenty of room, since the churchgoing crowd doesn't start filing in until noon or so. Plus, Q. Cumbers is a sponsor of our radio program, and this is a great way to show our appreciation. These are all good reasons to join your fellow infidels every Sunday starting at 10:30 a.m., but if the promise of good company and lively conversation doesn't cinch the deal, just think how good it will feel to relax with a cup of java while the believers are fidgeting in those uncomfortable pews.

We were there at 10:30, seemed as if only 2 others showed up. We need a better identifying scheme.

We may have been a couple of minutes past 10:30, but we asked at reception where is Atheist group. She guided us to the said to be usual table location.
Met Susan there. She had never come before and had not said she was coming. We joined her. 20 minutes later, Samson came, another new person. The four of us had an great discussion. Sorry we missed the group. hope to find next time.Posted August 22, 2010 at 7:19 PM
