A bargain for all of us godless theatre goers! Admission is only $5.00!
The play "Rosencrantz & Guildenstern Are Dead" by Tom Stoppard will be having its final dress rehearsal (which is usually flawless) at Theatre in the Round Players (TRP), 245 Cedar Ave., Minneapolis, MN 55454 (on the West Bank in Minneapolis).
We'll meet in the lobby at 6:45 p.m.
Once again, admission is only $5.00.
For those not familiar with this famous Stoppard play, it's look at Hamlet from the viewpoint of two of its minor characters, college chums of the Prince of Denmark. We follow them on their journey to Elsinore – a pair of silly, rather likable Elizabethan courtiers who don't quite know why they're going, what's their purpose, or even who they are exactly. This highly-praised absurdist farce from 1967 is Stoppard's most produced work and a showcase for his brilliant wordplay.
Don't miss this opportunity for a marvelous evening of theatre for an absurdly low price.
