Newbie Night

This new Meetup is specifically designed for those who've never attended an MNA Meetup before, or never got a chance to interact with other MNA Meetup members. It can be intimidating to be the only person in the room who doesn't know anybody else, so here's an event where EVERYONE has come to meet like-minded people they've never met before. We've reserved the Meeting Room at this Caribou Coffee until 7:30 p.m., but anyone who wants to continue their conversations is welcome to stay later.

RSVPs are mandatory! This room is a tight space, so if you are interested and will go, please RSVP. Keep your RSVP updated if your plans change.

Great event, I loved the low-key atmosphere and the chance to meet other newbies. Thanks, I'm looking forward to attending other events soon.

It was a great experience. I have never before been able to have logical conversations about religion with like minded people. It was a very refreshing experience. I plan to get more involved with the group and am looking forward to meeting more free thinkers.

This was a nice way to meet new people--enough of a format to get people conversing, but also it felt relaxed. The venue and the size of the groups (and breaking into smaller groups) worked well.

Wow! It was so nice to meet with a group of people and not be afraid to share my thoughts about this. Thanks for having this meet-up. I really appreciate it.

I really liked the small-group setting that allowed time to get to know people. It was nice to have predetermined topics for discussion, which served as jumping-off points for our conversations.

This was the best time I've ever had at a Minnesota Atheists event. All smart, interesting people and stimulating conversation.

Just to let everyone know, we're going to be mobbing the coffee shop. The meeting space holds about 10 comfortably, so some small groups will be breaking out to tables in the shop.
