Little Canada Book Club - "The Atheist's Way" - Caribou Coffee Rice & Country Dr

"The Atheist's Way: Living Well Without Gods," by Eric Maisel, has been reviewed by Grant Steves (http://mnatheists.org...) and Greg Petersen (http://mnatheists.org...) for the MN Atheists Newsletter. He has also been featured as a guest on our radio show. (http://mnatheists.org...)

Maisel sets out to explain, in only 175 pages, an atheists' way of life, or how it should be. It can be helpful in dealing with a reality which may feel empty and without meaning. We'll be discussing the concepts Maisel brings up, how his writing compares to more famous atheist authors, what has made sense to you, and other resources you have found helpful in dealing with your own life.

Be prepared to take notes as you read and bring your questions with you. We will be meeting from 1 p.m. until 4 p.m.

The book is available at most book stores, and online at Amazon.com (http://www.amazon.com...)

A good group that had very divergent opinions, but everyone was wonderfully open to discussion.

Great conversation with thoughtful, intelligent and funny people. I really enjoyed the afternoon and was glad to meet more members of this group. Looking forward to the next book.

We just grab a coffee and speak French. Some people have been coming every week for months... it creates a kind of warmth to the group.
