Love your picture :-)
Welcome to the Minneapolis Book Club Rachel, excited to meet you soon. Hopefully you'll consider sharing that "to read" list with the group.....
Hello Rachel! Welcome to Humanists of MN! Great to meet you today at the Feminist Working Group. I look forward to getting better acquainted. BTW--I grew up very religious also and spent many years extracting myself from the life of "faith." I can be quite a journey indeed.
Rachel- I love your description of freedom from trauma. It's well thought out and beautifully said. How do you think we can get to the place where we are at peace with our experience?
Hi Rachel, thanks so much for joining the nostalgia book club! I can really tell that you appreciate the whimsical experience of re-reading children's books! Also, I have yet to visit Boneshaker Books, but will add it to my "to explore" list!
Welcome to the Nietzsche in Depth Meetup. If you'd like read a short but complete book by Nietzsche written late in his career (1888), I'd suggest "Twilight of the Idols." Another short book written the same year, "Ecce Homo" was a kind of retrospective on his own work, but it shows some indications of his impending mental collapse in January of 1889 from which he never recovered. I look forward to meeting you at our first Meetup on January 22, if you are able to attend.
Hey Rachel, if you could bring pre-written questions for Al and me on Saturday for the "help!" workshop, it would be helpful since we have so many people signed up. If something has changed and you can't make it, please update your RSVP so we can get an accurate head count. :)
