I'm a past president, past newsletter editor, sometime TV and radio show host, and current director-at-large of Minnesota Atheists.
I co-founded and was the first president of the Twin Cities Chapter of American Atheists in 1984, which became Minnesota Atheists in 1991.
These Meetups are a lot of fun, meeting many new atheists, some of whom have become active members of our group. Let's keep up our success and keep having a good time!

Welcome, August
Hi August -- Thanks for acting as host of the MNA Meetup's joint meetup with SBS for the Stoicism meetups starting on July 10. I wanted to let you know that the RSVP count of attendees for the Meetup is currently at 18 (including you and MNA guests); if you are willing to add that number in the MNA announcement as well, it might encourage a few more MNA attendees to RSVP for it. -- Thx, Frank
Hi August -- Indeed, Nate did arrive to present Echoes from the Past, so we will be proceeding to discussion on it on May 24. But Nate will replay the show on autoplay during the discussion; which means you'll have an opportunity to absorb much of its content. Hope to see you there. -- Frank
Hi August -- actually the 25th Ride is the same day as MN Atheists' Highway cleanup -- your Monthly Meetup is the Sunday before. So tell your friends at MN Atheists that anyone who'd rather play hooky and ride on the Pkwy instead of pick up trash, come on over! :)
Hi August, welcome to the Circle. We'll try to have Meetups very much like Secular Bible Study but on broader topics of dialogue than bliblical text and theology. Hope to see you there once we get a) sufficient attending members, b) a lecture venue, and c) suggested topics. Frank.
Hi, I will take 2XL for my t-shirt size

Glad to have you in the group, August!
August, thanks for joining. We are happy to announce we are part of the community for reason!
Good to see your mug up here, August. Can't wait to see you again, perhaps at our first meeting?
Amazingly able to communicate with retards without getting frustrated.
