to meet other folks for intelligent and fun conversation and companionship. Looks like I just missed the last "newbie's" night and hope that another will be scheduled soon.
Yes - we must remain respectful of others. You may have to slap me around a bit sometimes because I get pretty angry at the GOP and it shows.
Hi Wanda, welcome to Secular Bible Study! We actually did take a summer break this time last year -- and lost half the group! So, lesson #1 for our new SBS Organizing Committee this year is, "No breaks!" We meetup every other Tuesday at 7-9 pm, and our next meetup is April 20, on "The History of the Afterlife." Come say hello!
Yeah...it isn't the easiest to see everyone when stuck in a booth! You really have to just get out. Ask Lisa how to do it! ;)
I purposely did NOT rent out a separate room because, as mentioned, I don't know how many people will attend, and it's not fair to the servers to set up for an event that is so iffy. Don't worry. There will be more events for you to feel free to roam around the cabin. Glad you came.
Outdoor events sound good. Welcome to da nerds!
Agreed, now that winter is almost here I need to get out more - it's much easier in
the summer/autumn, just to get on my bicycle and ride. 'What I don't do often" is send
people greetings - that sounds a little creepy now that I explain it.
I cannot remember which meet up this was for!!! Wanda be hanging her head in embarrassment! :)
Wanda, Hey that's my name too!!
Not that many of us out there! Hopefully we won't cause any confusion with our names. :)
Hope to meet you.
Wanda, it was a pleasure to meet you tonight at Lamont Cranston. I hope to meetup with you again soon.
Hi Wanda, it was great to meet you at the Humanists meeting today.
