Entrepreneurs take on the risk of starting, running and growing their ventures for numerous reasons: To be the boss, the excitement, the money or the satisfaction of starting something big. Whatever the reason, entrepreneurs share one thing in common--they are the leaders of our community. This group was started to allow its members: to meet one another in an informal setting, create networking relationships, learn from each others' businesses and just relax with the company of like-minded individuals. To that end, The Minority Entrepreneurs of Portland Metro will develop and promote monthly meetups in establishments across the city. All are welcomed to join in particular minority business owners, people looking to start a business or other minority professionals.
