Are you local to Santa Clara?
Yes, I grew up in Santa Clara. My parents moved to the city when I was 18 months old. When I married I moved to South San Jose, and lived there for about 27 years. Then, about four years ago I moved back to Santa Clara. Love the mission city!
How long have you been knitting or crafting?
I have been knitting since I was ten years old. I learned to crochet when I was about fifteen.
What fun projects are you currently working on?
I am working on Kate Gibson's Clapotis with Lorna's Laces Lion and Lamb yarn. I am also making the Colourscape Chunky Dandy sweater in Colourscape yarn, and the Valour vest in Brunswick Ballybrae yarn.
What are you looking forward to getting out of this group?

Hello Dianna, I'm attending your group for the first time and am looking forward to meeting everyone. I don't know any other stitch except purl and knit but that's O.K. It's getting out an meeting other knitters that counts. See you all tomorrow morning. Sandie

Hi Diane! Yes, we didn't find out we were pregnant till I was a little ways along, it was an unexpected but wonderful surprise. I have been to the group a few times during the pregnancy but unfortunately they were weeks you were working so I didn't get the chance to tell you! Our little boy Oliver ("Ollie") was born on Monday. Hopefully in a few weeks I will bring him by the group for a visit. Hope you're doing well. :)
