Come join my beer group!!!

We are going off to visit two of Northern California's best breweries and a brewpub that I hear makes some great beer in it's own right.

What we are going to get is transportation to the three beer destinations and back, three sample sets, a guided brewery tour, lunch, and some souvenirs. Minimum for this thing to work is 15 people maximum capacity of the bus is 25.

The regular price for the tour is $95 but we've been offered a $10 discount so $85 plus the $2.85 PayPal fee get's you a spot on the bus.

I know a lot of people like to wait until close to the date to decide on Meetup events but this one is different. If this event is going to happen you'll have to treat it more like a vacation plan; you'll have to commit early and schedule other things around it. There are deposits that have to be put down so if at least 15 people don't make a solid commitment by January 5th I'll have to cancel the event.


Here's the itinerary as I understand it:

We will be picked up at Civic Center at 9:30. We will arrive at Bear Republic in Healdsburg around 11:00 for samples. Next we will be off to Hopmonk Tavern for samples and lunch. The lunch choices are here; please note your food choice in the RSVP notes or you will automatically get the burger with fries. Last stop will be Lagunitas for more beer samples and a tour.

We should be back to The City by 4:30 PM

Drinking beer is allowed on the bus and buying it at the various stops is encouraged.

I've been wanting to do an event like this for years, I hope everyone can make it.
