Hello Everyone,
Happy Holidays! As we approach the crazy holiday season, I encourage you to take some time for yourself. Indulge in a massage, take a walk, have lunch with a friend, or spend just five minutes meditating! It will do wonders for your mental state of health. Being creative is also a great way to relieve stress. I hope you'll find some time in your busy schedule to join us for a collage workshop. We laugh, share stories, and focus on our creative selves for a few hours. Just click on the link below to see the December schedule, but in summary here are the dates: Sunday mornings, 10:00-1:00: Dec. 2nd, 16th Thursday mornings, 10:00-1:00: Dec. 6th, 13th, 20th Friday evening, 6:30 - 9:00: Dec. 14th I'd like to share this inspirational message from Shelley Klammer: (you can read more of her articles HERE Notice today where you attention is going. What are you thinking about? Is your thinking helping or hindering your energy, your environment, the people around you? What are you creating today? This is not an exercise in "good" or "bad" thinking but more of an attitude of a curious awareness about what you are creating. Pick one hour in your day whether you feel like doing it or not and practice seeing the good in everything you encounter. Make it like a game and see what you love about each thing you set your eyes on. Write in your journal about how it felt. Did you feel resistant and stop soon after you started? Did you you raise your love and energy higher? Was it comfortable or uncomfortable? Next take an hour and judge everything you see. Does this feel more familiar. Do you feel better or worse. Accept yourself in this place. Often we have to build up a "tolerance" to loving. We can avoid feeling really good feelings just as much as we avoid feeling bad feelings. |
