HTML and CSS the last thing that you have to deal with in developing your apps?  Do you have a hard time communicating with your designers?  Looking to get agile with your UI?  Suffer from inconsistent UI and spaghetti code code all over the place?  When in doubt, do you default to just add more CSS?

Dale Sande, UI Engineer for Getty Images, has been invited to speak about concepts like Modular Web Design, elemental design patterns, OOCSS and UI pattern libraries.  These techniques will not only help bridge communication between designers and developers, but also help to create reusable design and code patterns that reduce errors and speed up development.

Bio: Dale Sande is a UI Engineer for Getty Images based in Madison, WI.  He is currently leading efforts to standardize UI pattern library development for Getty Images with the goal to increase communication and productivity between design and development teams. See his resume @ dalesande.com.  He blogs @ blog.mbreo.com

Great presentation by Dale. Very informative and he answered all questions with a lot of insights and "on the field" experience.

Great presentation! So excited to start using less and see what it can do. Sitting at work right now writing a proposal to integrate less into our workflow. Luckily we are in the discovery phase of a new CMS so this should be no problem getting approved!

Excellent presentation. I am just starting in web design, and the ideas presented by Dale were great idea-starters for better coding. Well worth the time to go. Thanks to Rackspace and C2Graphics for sponsoring this event. Great pizza and subs too!
