How long have you been making stuff for the web?

Was selling websites in 1994 and did training & teaching. Did a LOT of evangelizing in those days. Co-started a local tech company that is still in business. Went off in another direction in 1996 and have not kept up with tech skills. Have the basic knowledge but am outdated on current tools.

Is web design/development your full time job, a hobby, or something you're just getting into?

It is a tool to use for business.

What do you hope to get from this group?

I'm seeking a person to make a relationship with to become my go-to web/tech person. Ideally, someone who would be interested in helping me in the current start-up as a kind of a stakeholder as I am self financing this one. No deep pockets here, although there are investors interested. The web needs for this project are really rather inelegant and modest, but I do need help. A student could do this easily, I should think, and the project could be an excellent resume credential. The product is an industrial-user tool for a large existing US market with the 'legs' to succeed in an also existing international market. Please feel free to reach out to me to see how we can help each other.

Introduction

Hi, I'm an entrepreneur bringing a patented product to market, and hatching 2 other ideas along the way. Interested to meet web designers to network with for mutual benefit.
