Don’t get excited Kurt, you ask me what I was doing and I told you I don’t control your emotional responce. As for your magic bullet, good luck with that. What works is organization like California and Colorado Kurt but that is way too much work for most. We are down to 2 months now to have a strong showing at the caucuses and public input meetings can help build that momentum. Real feet on the ground wins this battle the same as it has done with prohibition, women’s rights, gay rights, even union rights. How can anyone take us serious if we won’t turn out and fight for what we want. A grand example of that was your rally at the Capitol, how many of your people turned out on Monday to be in your representatives face. That’s the kind of lack of follow through that I have seen over and over again here in Minnesota. The squeaky wheel gets the grease and those to lazy to squeak undermine us all. This is a political battle that can not be won without strong political involvement by committed individuals with the fortitude to stand their ground anarchists get us nowhere. Are you circulating petitions, are you creating a list of supporters you can count on to turn out when needed, are you empowering your friends and neighbors with the courage to join the winning effort? That is what I am listening for Kurt, lone wolves are a dime a dozen and never build a winning coalition which is what we need. What burns my backside most is someone with absolutely no political party experience tell those of us who do, what needs to be done. We need to be in the political arena and we need those with experience in that arena to be successful. It’s as simple as respect and support for those willing to help us.
