Hennepin County Libraries have meeting rooms that are available for use for free to any and all Non-Profit origination. The main Library DT Mpls and Ridgedale and Southdale have the biggest Meeting Rooms available. If people are coming in from out of town I do have space to accommodate a few people that need a place to sleep.

How about doing it on the U of M campus. Enlist the help of the student government who can gain access for free, so can sororities They may also be able to help with funding. Utilize every free and cheap advertising avenue available for as long as possible, including PBS’s public announcements. Perhaps we could include morning, afternoon, and evening townhall meeting sessions to increase input and interest. I have a long history of doing booths and might be able to put together something helpful. A citizen survey about marijuana issues might also be a useful ownership tool at such an event. I would love to attend by I can’t swing $60 in gas right now. It can be billed as both Minnesota’s NORML’s 4/20 event and an opportunity to discuss Marijuana reform form say an “Economic Development” standpoint, a “Legal Standpoint” and a “Moral Standpoint”. We need to break out of the mold we have been framed in.
