A Zentangle is a miniature abstract work of art. The process is a meditative art form, using a pen, pencil, and a piece of art paper called a "tile". A Zentangle tile is meant to be a surprise that unfolds before the creator's eyes, one stroke at a time. There are no expectations or planned goals of accomplishment to worry about. WIth no plan to follow, there is nothing to detract from the stroke being drawn. The lack of planning and the tangles allow the unexpected to occur.

This is a group for beginner, intermediate and extravagant Zentanglers who wish to share their ideas, inspirations, patterns, successes and failures, over a cup of their favorite hot beverage. All you need to bring is your creative spirit, a pen, pencil, and tile or sketchbook.
There is no cost to join, but I do request that you be respectful with your RSVP's.
• If you plan on attending a meetup, make sure to RSVP.
• If you RSVP "Yes", please show up.
• If you RSVP "Yes" and then can't attend, please change your RSVP. This allows us to start promptly rather than waiting for people who aren't going to come. Those who RSVP "Yes" and then don't come will be flagged as a "No Show". Three "No Shows" and you will be removed from the group. This is not meant to be militant or overly punitive, but our time is limited and we would like to spend it tangling!
