Pittsburgh's Model & Photographer MeetUp is a group for Models, Photographers, MUAs and others who would like to get together for workshops, photoshoots, portfolio work, and networking.

Monthly open shoots allow for both photographers and models to update their portfolios, hone skills, and show off changes in look or style. Our Group Shoots/Meetups are a great way to network, add to your portfolio, or just have a little creative fun.

Models who show up always get quite a few usable images for their portfolios. So, it's a great way to make sure your portfolio always reflects your current "look" (hair, tan, weight, etc) Our workshops try to teach a skill or technique, not to just be a way to shoot some models. Models have a chance to earn a little money, and photographers have a chance to learn something, try something new, or add something to their portfolio they might not have had the ability or opportunity to do. Our picnics are just a fun time :)

We have BOTH nude and non-nude events.  We DO NOT host "adult" events.   We concentrate on the artistic and creative. 

We teach the SKILLS you can use in your own photography, or modeling, to further your goals.  We do *not* teach you how to duplicate what we do, and we encourage EVERYONE to develop their own style, and to work within the parameters they are comfortable with.

You are not required to attend every event.  Models are encouraged to participate since they benefit greatly with updated images in a variety of styles in exchange for their time.  Photographers get to work with models, learn new techniques, network, and have a lot of fun.
