Augustine of Hippo: Confessions Books IV, V, & VI

We are meeting for dinner and conversation.  Since it is on a Friday night and Lovely closes early, I changed the location to a Moroccan restaurant.  I guess at least somewhat reminiscent of cuisine that Augustine would enjoy.  See you guys there!

I will take care of the reservations.

Let’s look more closely into the problem of what satisfies a person’s heart in the quest of coming to terms with life and soul - heart is the totality that constitutes personhood and one's unique identity.  Rather than an emotional center, it is the dynamic principle that integrates the mind, the will, emotions, and the body.  What is the heart of man?  And what are the means of credibility that calm reason’s natural anxieties in its quest for truth?  How is credibility determined?

We are reading Book IV, V & VI.

I mismanaged my time today and won't make it. I'm sorry for the late notice. Thanks for organizing these, Kinga.
