Align your products with existing consumer behavior
Innovating and building solutions of the future is hard. However some of the most successful consumer focused companies in the last decade grew quickly because they built products that took advantage of existing consumer behavior. They chose to improve on an existing behavior rather than take their target audience down a new behavioral path.
Chuka will give examples of some of the challenges he has faced when building products that go against existing target audience behavior. He will give reasons why it is important to consider existing habits when building new products or launching a new business; and note examples of some of the most successful companies in the last decade that have taken advantage of existing consumer behavior to build successful businesses.
