I am currently working as a Solution Architect at Slalom Consulting in their DC practice. Previously, I was an E-Commerce Solutions Architect for a SaaS subscription billing company Vindicia, now owned by AMDOCS. I've been a Software Developer Manager for more than a decade leading teams rapidly shipping applications. I was introduced to mobile device development more than 10 years ago when PalmOS, Windows CE, PocketPC, and RIM desktop sync were all the rage, but since then I had been focused mainly on web development supporting the business we do at fool.com.
I hope to share experiences and lessons learned when extending web strategies to meet the needs of mobile customers.
Any platform that can connect via SOAP or REST we support. Prior to Vindicia, while at the Fool, primarily we employed web applications and RESTful APIs using a hybrid of .net/C#, django/python, and wordpress/php. However, I have been delving into native iPad/iPhone iOS.

I have been coding since 1989 when I was introduced to BASIC on an Apple 2e, working in SW + IT for over two decades. I am a Solution Architect focusing on Cloud enabled products, APIs, and the full stack. I design, build, and ship SW products.
