Babel - A MODX Extra For Internationalization

Have the need to create and manage a multilingual website? MODX and Babel may be the way to go! MODX provides built-in support for internationalization and Babel provides the means to create and manage multiple multilanguage versions of a website.

Paul Kabotie, Software Engineer, MODX Ambassador and founder of the MODX meetup group, will demonstrate setting up and using Babel for a multilingual website. We will also touch on MODX's built-in lexicon management system.

MODX Revolution™ is a CMS/CMF designed to support web designers AND backend developers. Elegantly designed and solidly implemented, it separates the frontend and backend management in a way that designers and developers can work on different parts side by side without stepping on each other. We have total creative freedom to develop and render websites EXACTLY how we want, both with HTML/CSS/JS design and the backend functionality.

We come together to discuss, present and/or participate in various aspects of MODX. Rub elbows with other movers and shakers of the Rocky Mountain MODX community! Meet, network, share tips, make connections, collaborate - enjoy yourself! Come one, come all - we look forward to seeing you!
