Great Meetup Tuesday night. I walked away with a better understanding of Element 3D. I avidly enjoyed attending and plan on being a regular. Thank you so much for the awesome prize I won, very excited to dive in whole heartedly in digital tutors.
So I freelance under a company name - EnMedia Solutions and Im pretty much everywhere online. FB, Twitter, Youtube etc.....
Im so apprehensive about posting my work to real professionals, but my curiosity wins out. Im 100% self taught via AK @ VCP. Im my own worst all time critic and rarely think Im worthy. Some of my works on the link are templates that clients bought and I disected changed up or added to, there are some original works there as well. So...anyway here's my channel.......
(1st intro is not me, but a designer that worked for me last year.) Everything else is me. Be gentle. :-)

For those curious. This is what can be down with global illumination and using objects as a light source for your scene. The pulse distortion was added using digieffects in After Effects. I have more camera angles in the works to finish piecing this together and more pieces to follow for my new reel. https://www.facebook.com/photo.p...

Here's my 5 second "machine" clip.
Imported in the head, chest, arms, and legs separately. The transform would be a lot better if I position each object's pivot point at 0,0,0 in C4D.
Pulled the model from Google's 3D warehouse. Tons of free models, but they tend to require a lot of cleanup in C4D.

Excited about this meetup! Bought Element 3D right when it came out but have yet to do much with it. If I find the time for the 5 second sprint, I'll make a point to use "E3D".
Might be obvious since he's now partnered with GSGorilla, but Pixel Lab has a lot of free C4D models if you sign up for his newsletter. The model packs he sells (for pretty cheap) are formatted for C4D or E3D.
