hmm, 60 RSVPs 10 seconds after opening, 100 in the next minute. Redefines the word popular...

Who attended?

  • 356 attendees
    •  Good vibes last night, despite some shocking news regarding the organization.
    •  good meetup, I've met the right people again. Preso's were not my style...
    •  I have been at the MoMo events ever since Joseph Pine took the stage and the audience for a mind bending trip. I enjoyed the previous MoMo's for their insight and the bright speakers with their stories, but yesterday something Magic was in the room. I can't put my finger on what that Magic was.. It might have been the kickoff by Raimo where he announced his departure, or the way Teemu - "the only blue haired Fin" in the room - took the audience by the hand and sucked them into his story like no-one did before.. Or was it the way Bruce asked if he could preach from the pulpit instead of speak from the stage.. I'll have to think about this once more, but one thing I am sure of, this event is on a shared 1st place with my previous favorite!
    •  Bruce Sterling's views were inspiring, Johan Koolwaaij showed us very interesting information models, Raymond Perrenet's figures were reassuring, and Teemu Arina's presentation was beautiful but kind of vague. The Twitter screen was a nice gimmick, but a bit too disturbing and not very respectful for both speakers and audience. Thanks again for organising!
    •  Defintely. Access is important, content even more.
    •  Great speaker. Especially after the break!
    •  Bruce Sterling preaching from the lectern.... priceless!
    •  Good: Great diversity in keynotes. Many interesting ideas. Great fun. Attentive and informed audience a.k.a. the incrowd ;-) Not so good: I'm sorry that we are back at the classic, not-so-interactive format. Please keep testing ways to get the audience off their asses! I would welcome practical cases or hard research as a counterweight to all the visionary stuff.
    •  new experiences, saves me time and money, and makes live easier. but not giving up my privacy.
    •  Interesting stories from Raimo and from the Telematica institute. Bruce Sterling had some interesting thoughts, but Teemu was too vague. His presentation method did not allow him to give a relaxed presentation. (He might as well have read aloud from paper.) With regard to his message, personally I like it a bit more practical. I'm not into the holistic stuff of things. The sales pitch for the G1 or Blackberry Storm was entertaining but did not add any value other than that.
    •  Cool, inspiring. Great diversity in KeyNotes
    •  Interesting and inspiring thoughts on the future of webmobilehandsetwhateverpeoplewillcalliteventually!
    •  Bruce Sterling alone is 5 out of 5, even by himself as he is one of the legends of our time, including mobile internet with his musings in Shaping Things and Wired. On top, the audience was great and top notch.
    •  Fun Fin and sterling Sterling.
    •  Very abstract presentations, too much far future, too little today / near future.
    •  Great Momo - again. Especially the part after the break. Inspiring stuff!
    •  Great speakers!
    •  Excellent topics, content and speakers
    •  Good show, content-wise reasonable
    •  Inspired. Good to know who's doing what in this field of work.
    •  It was a fun, intelectually challenging and inspiring event. I especially enjoyed the presentation by Teemu. Thanks for the organizers! I'll try to be there next time too!
