Ieder nadeel hep z'n voordeel (vrij naar Cruyff). Ofwel: regen op een camping mét wifi vergroot de kans op inschrijven voor MoMo #17 meer dan aanzienlijk. Nu aftellen ;))

My advice for this momoams, don't expect the theme to be what you think it is... we have done our best to stretch the limits again :)

I was impressed after visiting the MoMo #17 Design meetup. It reminded me of The Doors of Perception meetup in 1998 at the Beurs van Berlage. http://museum.doorsofperception.com/doors5/doors5.html

The local heroes with their vuvuzela app were truly inspiring. I will certainly visite MoMo # 18. Thanks for the very well organized event guys! Learned a lot!

Excellent audience, Matt Webb was best, followed by Timo Arnall. I also liked the prezzies by Tom Hume and the Vuvuzela one. Perfect organisation. Time management good. Drinks and food good. Happy with all positive comments afterwards.

Momo 17 was great! The new concept of the Local heroes is good, but still the best speakers come from abroad. Matt Webb was great and very inspiring. The others were more practical. And finally the jazz jam session in the restaurant at the other side of the canal was great as well, but that part wasn't part of the programme i guess :)

Going away with some mindboggling thoughts is the reason why MoMo always is excellent. Future mobile UX goes beyond the touch screen and phones allready are packed with capabilities to do so..... Here my recent view on Service Design and Mobile UX: http://www....

All in all good to be present. Quality of certain speakers left something to be desired. If they had talfked about their lessons learned, the quality of their talks would be better.
  • Bas Hoppe
Loved the last two. The first two ones where to basics. Feeling of; been there, done that, got the t-shirt
  • Arthur Nooter
Great Meetup Liked Timo Arnall a lot formulating the essence of contact. Excellent thoughts by Matt Webb predicting human future, inspiring Thnx momoams

Gathered some usefull "food for thought" again. ThxQ!

I thought the first presentations were a bit too obvious, but the last two after the break made up for that. Especially Matt Webb was brilliant and made this MoMo worthwhile (again). I like the local heroes idea but these guys have to add more info / insights other than we did something and it worked...
  • Nina Quax
I enjoyed the presentations, in particular the 2 last speakers of the day. inspiring and refreshing way of looking at htings: thank you!
  • Dirk van Oosterbosch
The quality before the break was a bit disappointing (dumbing down design for suits). Fortunately Timo and Matt were exactly on point and very inspiring!
  • Cathy-Central
My first MoMo, suitably impressed. Loved that some of the speakers approached the design subject from a different perspective, challenging the audience to think differently. Good balance though, as earlier, simple, practical insights were also helpful. Hurray for paper, huh!

Groeten, Arpad

slow start. great last two speakers!
  • Bart van Poll
I left full of energy and ideas! Timo Arnall and Matt Webb were amazing. Local Heroes could be faster & shorter - nice idea though.
  • Rick le Roy
    Great line up!
  • Ianus Keller
The event got better after the break. Design oriented approach in the beginningwasn't that clear (apart from the primer in sketching, prototyping and exploration).
  • Jef Martens
One of the best insights yet: timely, practical and with a high-level foundation. My takeaways: - prototype offline - show your efforts to everyone involved - reward testers - interact frequently on demand & supply side to create highest quality products - create compelling offers by realising the instant, repeat and long term product functionality - use data driven insights for product (re)positioning and tailoring - rethink interaction; design outside the screen related to the environment - Differentiation is key in becoming featured in major news outlets - Free is a viable business model for software

good build-up of presenters. Rick was a good find (disclaimer: Rick and I worked together in the 90's), I hadn't read that Timo was coming which was a lovely surprise, and Matt was his usual puzzling self. Thanks for letting me join the post-event dinner! Had a great time.
  • Gerrit Niezen
Really enjoyed the last two talks by Timo Arnall and Matt Webb. Inspiring stuff!
  • Yvonne de Mey van Streefkerk
Liked it. Taking a peek into processes of other companies and had a greattime meeting people
  • Arie den Boon
Very good session again. Wonder how you can keep the quality so high. Design is so easy and still so difficult to get right. The last two speakers gave an overview that placed design in a broader context, very inspiring. But, can you do something more with the quality of the sound? And perhaps the speaker should trade his charming nonchalant but to fast pace to something that fits the acoustical limitations of the Duif better!
  • Allard De Wijkerslooth
Especially the last speaker from Berg London was very inspiring
  • W.Tinbergen
liked the last 2 presentations most: about impact and consequences of design on real life and how they interact. first time I attended, liked it, will be back.
  • Kjeld Kahn
Nice to attend a MoMo again. Liked the local hero cases (more slots and shorter next time please). Loved Timo Arnall we share ideas and thought. The dev studio from Brighton shared good stuff (I am on the right track ;). United guy was insightful and it probably helped the marketeers to understand these processes much better, so very good timing as first speaker.

  • ilia kole
first half wasn't really that needed. The second half however, very inspiring!
  • Mariska Volkmaars
Well organised. It was my first time, so I wondered, why are the Dutch speakers in English as well? For a few speakers the message would have been more powerfull if it wasn't.
  • Jasper van Hemert
Well organized. Especially Matt Webb gave a good presentation (I also liked his response to the question on design&ethics: honest, well formulated and inspiring) Timo Arnall also had a nice talk.
