How often do you meet?
We have several playdates a week and a wonderful variety of playgroups and events throughout the month. There is a fun activity almost everyday of the week!
Where do your members reside?
The majority of our members live in the Land O'Lakes area, along S.R. 54. We have some members that live in Wesley Chapel, Lutz in Hillsborough and Pasco, Odessa in Hillsborough and Pasco, and in the Citrus Park area.
What are the ages of your moms?
Our moms are between the ages of 25 and 45.
What are the ages of your children?
We have crawlers to drivers! We have babies just born to teens born to speed!
Our children's ages range from one day old to 16 years old! How can I join?
Apply for membership, answer the profile questions, and upload a photo of you or your children. You will remain a pending member until you attend one of our Meet and Greet Events. For more information on our Meet and Greet Events, please click here.
What are your membership fees?
Our dues are $36 dollars per year, which breaks down to $3 per month. Members can choose to pay dues for the year ($36) or 2 payments at $18 (January-June; July-December). Dues are prorated for new members according to the month of their join date.
What do the dues pay for?
Your dues are used towards Meetup/PayPal fees. In addition, your dues help provide for craft supplies needed for a variety of events, refreshments for birthday celebrations each month, holiday parties and other group expenses. However, members are occasionally asked to pay for holiday parties.
How do I know the group is the right fit for me and my child? Can I try it out?
Absolutely! We encourage new members to give Moms on the Go a 30-day trial period to see if the group is right for you.
When can I attend a playgroup?
Once your membership is approved, log onto our website and view our on-line calendar. You can RSVP for each event on our calendar. New members must attend two public playdates and meet our Organizer and/or Assistant Organizer before attending a playdate at a member's home.
How can I host a playgroup?
Once you have attended two public events and our organizer or assistant organizer have met you, we would love for you to host a playgroup! Please e-mail Erika and she will will work with you on a date according to your availability and our current calendar. Members must be paid and active members to host an event.
I did not attend an event this month. Do I still need to pay dues?
All members are required to pay for the months they are members, regardless of their attendance.
Why should I RSVP?
Every member should RSVP 'yes', 'no', or 'maybe' for each event. We like to know which friends will be present or absent due to schedule conflicts or sickness. If you plan to attend an event, remember to include your children as guests. This helps us know how many to expect at a given event.
What do the group ratings mean?
After you attend an event, you will be asked to fill out a survey to rate an event. Once you finish the survey, your comment about the event will be posted on the event page. In addition, your comment about the group will be added to the list of comments made by other members, which can be found on the right-hand side of the About Us page. Please note, if you rate an event poorly, it will effect our overall group rating.
I'm a nursing mom. Can I bring my baby to MNO?
Although we admire, respect, and support your choice to breastfeed your child, MNO is a time for moms to enjoy each others company without children. Each mom is asked to make arrangements for their children so we may enjoy a stress-free evening with just the girls! Every mom deserves a break, especially a nursing mom!
