ok, so i'm hosting an Anime / Fandom, 4th of July BBQ, my first ever 4th of July party even though i've been in the states since 1999, if you can bring something, potluck, it might be an idea if you commit to coming to say what you are bringing (if you are bringing anything !!! (there isnt any compulsion on this so do not feel obliged), but its my hospitality i'm offering), that way there won't be a plethora of potato or macaroni salad or chips .We are getting two gas/propane bbq loaners from Fandemonium staff. I'll defo provide hotdogs, and lots of vegitarian stuff, and Domo-kun cupcakes, Kamen No Maid Guy cookies, so no-one will starve. For Legal Reasons, no underage drinking (yeah that might sound like a downer, but remember, its my neck on the line on my property). Oh, and no drugs either while we are at it, just bring fun times. If you want to crash, thats fine too (bring a pillow or whatever), as is plying me with a beer, lol, only joking . Fireworks are ok too, but probably on the subdivision street, or sidewalk. Also being invited are my Fandemonium & Anime Oasis & Ichidan friends, email me with questions etc,. I'm cosplaying???.^_^...... you are welcome to cosplay too, no compulsion on that either. Its just a fun time to celebrate our independence & all that shtuff.

    I'll be bringing some meat to grill, some alchohol and mixers. I don't know how much I can share. If there's a water balloon fight, keep me out of it :)).

    ok, Bun(nee) is bringing Deviled Eggs.......^_^, oh and looks like i'm making Domo-kun cupcakes, Kamen No Maid Guy badge cookies, and a limited run of puff pastry Haggis bites........^_^

      “ Considering this was the first time i'd ever done anything like this it was a fabulous disaster......, no i'm only joking, it was not a disastar at all. There was way too much food, but the bbq was late so i'd already started cooking stuff on the range inside ,(indoor bbq?). I learned a lot from the experiance, like to prepare more, and not to expect to finish my cosplay in 2 hours (it took 2.5 hours). Dave was the first to arrive, its great to see him again after him being in Alaska for so long, and looks like he pulled (Dave you are the man). I should have had a guest book at the door for everyone to sign in, that would have been cool. My Haggis puff pastry bites, Domo-kun cup cakes, and Bun(nee)'s deviled eggs went really fast. I was really pleased with the Kogarashi costume, even tho it was not 100% finished, but it was cool to debut it. We never quite got around to a lot of things, like the anime/movies, water balloon fight, and it was a wee bit too hot outside to sit until later ”
