Maisies Peak Loop at Fremont Older

Its summer, and time to Hike the Maisie's Peak loop, with a few brief breaks to enjoy the scenery. Its a moderate to strenuous hike, depending on the speed of the group. The trail follows a Ridgeline with three moderately steep sections, and the hike takes about 90 minutes.  Distance varies from 3.75 to 4.5 Miles.   Please RSVP if you'll be coming!

We meet at the trail head in the parking lot.  Look for the crowd at the signs.

Special Note to first time attendees:   Allow extra time to find the trail head and parking.  In the summertime, the parking lot at the trailhead is often full.  You can park just outside the OSP entrance on the side of the road and walk in in less than 10 minutes.

Is the hike still on, we live in Gilroy & it is drizzling & the sky looks nasty. We don't want to come all the way & find out that the hike is cancelled. Any update? We need to know before 4:30 pm cause traffic is heading back home from LA & 101 gets very choked up. Please get back ASAP. Thanks!
