We're running out of daylight, and this may be the last such hike of the season. I'll mark the occasion by actually doing the hike described below.
ATTENTION!!!! This is a fast and sometimes difficult hike, and not appropriate for newbies.
Route: We'll hike up to the Coyote Ridge trail and then down into Stevens County park. From there we'll hike around the lake and back up to Fremont Older from the back, past the Archery range. The hike should be about 7 miles. After the descent into Stevens, its a gradual climb for most of the way back. We'll end the day at Maisie's Peak.
Please bring water and snacks as necessary, and hike within your abilities. We will set a fast pace and not make many stops. Please be on time.
