An evening of Japanese Cusine

Chef Gary Alinder studied cooking in Japan and will be sharing his culinary expertise with us starting with: White Cabbage & Corn Soup; Braised Tofu w/ Shiitake Mushroom Sauce and Sugar Snap Peas; Long Grain Brown Rice; Bok Choy Stir Fry; Crisp Carrot, Daikon and Sprout Salad; Quick Pickled Cucumber; Dessert: Teff Date-Nut Bars & Tea

    The soup was incredible!! Chef Gary Alinder posted the recipe on his blog and Foodgawker already picked it up! The Teff -date-nut bars were really different and highly enjoyable. I'm not a brownie lover, but these gourmet macro bars were delish! So glad I didn't have to cook on such a warm evening... Great crowd!
