Let's seeThe Hobbit: An Unexpected Journey at the Regal Cinema on Bagley Rd .
I don't think I need to say too much since this is probably the most anticipated prequel since ... The Phantom Menace? Peter Jackson's return to the work of J. R. R. Tolkien and the masterful universe that Jackson and his crew created is the kind of event that shatters records over at Apple trailers and revives ailing movie studios.
A curious Hobbit, Bilbo Baggins, journeys to the Lonely Mountain with a vigorous group of Dwarves to reclaim a treasure stolen from them by the dragon Smaug.
It probably wouldn't be a bad idea to get your tickets on line before hand since this is going to be a big holiday movie. You can get your tickets online HERE Note: We usually like to go to Regal Cinemas on Tuesdays to take advantage of their bargain Tuesday prices, but it looks like they are not offering these prices for The Hobbit. And of course they will still have the 3D surcharge.
For anyone who would like to meet to have a quick appetizer or adult beverage before the show, let's plan on meeting in the bar area at the Road House (18332 Bagley Road, it's in the same small shopping strip) to take advantage of their Happy Hour. Let's meet at 6:00 and I'll try to get there at 5:30 to watch for everyone.
If anyone has any questions, just drop me a note.
