Betsy, truly, I am so sorry to hear about your loss. I know we haven't met, per se, but I feel with you. And thank you so much for your kind blessings to me and mine during this Christmas season and turning of the new year. Likewise, my prayer is that you be blessed, and your family too, especially at this time of loss. As much as it is possible with you, be at peace.

betsy - from reservation road, get onto hwy 68 heading towards monterey. on your right hand side will be tract houses. as you reach the end of the tract houses, there will be a dirt parking lot (also on the right side of 68). if you see toro cafe on the left, you have gone too far west. hope this helps.

Wow, Betsy, those do sound like beautiful salads....and yummy too! I'm a fan of cabbage too. I eat it almost every day in an asian type cabbage salad....sometimes red, sometimes green, sometimes a combo. Especially good on toast with humus:-)
