Meet other fun-seeking local people who want to learn and practice the Hebrew Language.

Why study Hebrew? Here are just a few reasons:

1. It is the original language of the Bible. Think of reading the Old Testament in its original language... what a blast!
2. Famous figures who knew Hebrew: God, Jesus, Moses, the original authors of the New Testament, Isaac Newton, and many others. In fact, during the Early Modern era (roughly 1550-1800) many scholars, humanists, and philosophers could read Hebrew.
3. It is the only language that has been resurrected after two millenia during which no one spoke it as a mother tongue.
4. As a member of the Semitic Languages, Hebrew can provide you with some insights not only into Arabic but also Amharic, Aramaic, Maltese and Soddo.
5. It is a FUN language, and it is easier to learn than either Greek, Latin, or Arabic (to my mind).
