    About Awaodori:

    “Awaodori” is the most famous traditional dances in Japan. People in Tokushima prefecture have been dancing Awaodori for more than 300 years. Awaodori festival in Tokushima is held during Obon period (from Aug 12 to 15) annually. About 1.5 million people join the festival. This is one of the biggest festivals in Japan.

    If you are interested in Awaodori and Japanese traditional instruments such as Taiko or Shamisen, please join our “North California Awaodori circle”. You can join a big event such as Cherry blossom festival and Japan Expo as a member of the circle.
