I don't have snow shoes, but I do have hiking boots. Will they suffice?
Also, there's a chance I may have to cancel at last minute or come late if appointment with service people runs late.

Boots should be fine. Canceling works . Late, finding us is the only potential problem

I have an extra pair of snow shoes. They are pretty old but they'll get the job done.

    Hi
Do I need snow shoes? Or, will hiking boots suffice?

    January 3, 2014

    • Rabbi Katy A.

If you have snow shoes, they will certainly help, but I think hiking boots will be OK. I may have an extra pair, and if so I'll bring it along.

Being a typical kid, I can't get her to commit. I'll try to force the issue a bit more today.

Does anyone have an extra pair of show shoes for a friend who would like to come but doesn't have any?

It is looking like it might be kind of chilly on Shabbat. We will need to wear our woolies!
