Our Chanukah Party is right around the corner

The holiday season is here and Chanukah is just around the corner.  So, let's mark our calendars and plan to celebrate the Mosaic way!  The festive, fun-filled evening will include lots of activities and socializing, as well as an optional matone oysbayt (gift exchange) for humorous $10 gifts. We'll gamble with a dreidel and perhaps even sing a few traditional holiday songs.

Our menu will include latkes with all the fixings, vegetables and dip, and too many other treats to mention!

Please consider bringing a non-perishable food or toiletry contribution for Family Table, greater Boston’s Jewish food pantry.  (No meat or shellfish ingredients, please.)

RSVP: Mandatory by Tuesday December 4th. You can pay via paypal on the Mosaic website Mosaicofmass.org (look for the Chanukah party event listing there next week) or bring a payment with you to the party.

COST: $8 for Mosaic members, plus an extra $5 (total of $13) for Meetup participants and guests. The party and non-member fee will be waived for anyone from Meetup who joinsMosaic of MA ($25 for a year) at the party, we'll have membership forms available.

Optional:  Donations above and beyond the ticket price will be graciously accepted to help defray the cost of renting the hall (a big "thank you" in advance!).

My friend tried to RSVP just a little too late. Would it be ok for her to attend - just one person? I'm looking forward to meeting everyone!

Hi Elisabeth--YES, your friend is absolutely welcome to join us! We are anticipating several people to pay at the door without having RSVPd first--that is totally ok.

Do I need a more specific address than 280 Boylston St., Brookline? My google map shows a gas station at that location. Thanks.

Hi Emily! The party is in CHESTNUT HILL, not Brookline. Not sure if this affects your GPS directions... If you Google the Atrium Mall, follow those directions. 280 Boylston St in CHESTNUT HILL is literally right next door to the [former] Atrium Mall.

Randy--the party runs from 5-8, so you'll have plenty of time to schmooze if you get there at 6.

Gregory--DEFINITELY come join the party, even if you missed the RSVP deadline. We are expecting quite a few people to show up at the door without having RSVPed. See you there!

David, the event host, will probably respond to your questions as well.

I decided to start Reno Motorcycle Riders Group because I wanted to be part of a group of people who enjoyed my passion... I was excited and nervous. Our group has grown by leaps and bounds. I never thought it would be this big.
