Hi, really enjoyed tonight's show case, Fantastic pieces of professional art works. Have a question. In the last video that starts with a street view, I was wondering what camera been used and what software the 3d shapes created with?

I was wondering the same thing. I noticed that I was made by Black Black but I missed the name of the video, I'd really like to see it again.

Black black? I meant Ben Black!
Yes, I guess it's him. because when I asked about it one of the members mentioned him & said he already left so I thought to put my question here.
Hi. Sorry for late reply. I just used a Canon 650d with a Merlin steadicam for filming, and Cinema 4d for all of the 3d.

Really looking forward to seeing and hearing it again Ben. Thank you for sharing it with us.
Was the motion tracking done directly in C4D?
Many thanks Ben for the information. The video was AMAZING & I have the same question about the motion tracking.
Thanks guys, appreciate it. Most of the tracking was actually done in After Effects and then exported to C4D. AE's 3d tracker is pretty good now. I did have to use PF Track for one shot tho, AE occasionally struggles. Hope that helps.
I wouldn't mind discussing that with you sometime, I have a really interest in motion tracking 3D with footage but not had much experience in it. Will you be attending the next MotionNorth?

Thanks again Ben, yes it was really helpful to give me an idea of trying PFTrack™ & AE both for 3D track for my project.
No problem, yes I have my ticket so will be at the next meet up. See you then.
PFTrack, AE's 3D Tracker or Mocha, all stuff I need to look into. I have used AE's camera tracker in the past, took me a few attempts to get used to and didn't quite get it perfect in the end. From what I understand Mocha might be worth looking into next time?
Hopefully I'll be there and about mocha AE v3 & mocha Pro v3 I have some questions if you don't mind I ask you in next Motion North meet up.
Awesome, can't wait for the next one with Territory Studios
Dropping out of coming tonight but booking in for the next one, apologies and have a good one.
Hi all,I'm going to try and get there on time but I'm travelling from Bradford after work. I'll be the one sneaking late.Where and what do you want posted Jonathon? A reel?

We try not to show reels as there is so much to show. Ideally a recent project please. Normally show the work around 7:30 so try and get there before then.
Hi Dom. Have to be next month now. Please send it over though. Thanks
Hello all! I'm hoping to pop along if I can. Edit 19 are currently looking for a new head of VFX/more freelancers so i'd love to be able to watch all of your work and maybe see if anyone can help us out? The work's been of amazing standard every time I have been. x

It's been a few months since my last visit but I'm not going to let anything stop me this time!

Hi I am looking for all skill sets to film a "a day in the life of an actress" project following behind the scenes on an actual short film. If anyone is interested please inbox me. It is a first project and will be shot on a shoestring but hopefully it will be fun. Long term I am hoping to establish a skills pool in Manchester that can collaborate in making short films. You can tweet me @frk1 or just message me. Thanks
