Updates:

Please directly ride in to North Bend meeting point as we will not lead this ride from Snohomish tomorrow!  SSR group has 18 riders signed-up, so you will enjoy riding with them for sure :)  Ride, ride, ride!

-----------------------------------------------------------------------------------

Roger and I are going to ride with SSR group for the 3 pass blast ride. If you like to join the ride with us, let's meet up at Snohomish and ride to SSR's meeting point together! SSR's meeting point: Kens Truck Stop

[masked]th Ave SE, North Bend, WA (Let's meet near the Shell station on the side of the parking lot closest to the freeway.)

Forwarding SSR event's details:
After crossing Snoqualmie and Blewett Pass, and stopping in Cashmere for the customary Country Boy BBQ lunch, we would skip the usual Hwy. 2/Hwy 203/Hwy 18 route to get back to our neck of the woods. Instead, we will head south to Ellensburg and take Canyon Drive south to Yakima, then Hwy 12 over White Pass (or Chinook if it happens to be open by then) and head toward home. This route is a little longer than the traditional route, but should have less traffic and congestion.

The map below shows the planned route and the anticipated stops. If anyone has any questions or comments, please feel free to speak up.

Here is a map of the proposed route:

If Cayuse Pass is open, we have a choice of routes after crossing White Pass. We can either take the route above or this route, which is about 20 miles shorter and even more scenic.

Because of the longer route, plan to meet up at Ken's Truck Stop at 9:30 and put the kickstands up at 9:45 sharp.

This will be a fairly long day and we will be traveling around 350 miles, so riders should be capable of a long day of riding without excessive fatigue, and have at least an intermediate skill level. This would not be a good ride for someone with limited experience.

Weather forecast tomorrow is 30% chance of rain and PM showers :( I've gotta pick up my another bike, so we won't ride all day. Thanks for the heads-up!

Hi guys, we would like to know who's gonna show up in Snohomish and who's directly go to North Bend. Meeting time has changed to earlier so that we have spare time for unexpected traffics on the way to North Bend.

Mike, will ride directly to North Bend (I-90) since you are coming from Seattle?

We just grab a coffee and speak French. Some people have been coming every week for months... it creates a kind of warmth to the group.
