Hello Region A & B Members,
We're doing something out of the ordinary, sort of going out on a limb and "off the reservation" as it were for you...so to speak.  We're offering this one-time special deal and calling it the Region's Special!

Region is offering to all new, old, expired, about to expire members the $50 per year membership.  Yup, we said $50, not the $75 cost that's going around now. Why are we doing this, you may ask?  Because we want to keep our memberships growing and not falling by the side of the road!  However, the only way an expired member, a renewing member or someone who is interested in becoming a new member to receive this special offer is that they must contact us directlyNOT national as they will only mail it back to the sender.  Like the subject line says, we can only offer this deal until the end of the year.  Our hope is that everyone signing up will want to take advantage of this offer and go ahead and sign up for a full (3) years to take advantage of it.  After all, if National receives a $150 payment from a member for a 3-year period, it is better than a $75 signup and less likely to be turned down, ya think?

So... State and Chapter Directors - review your national reports and start personally contacting those on the expired lists and about to expire list and tell them about this offer.  Tell all your chapter members so they can get the word out fast!  Our phone lines are open and standing by.  We want to make sure everyone has the opportunity to get in on this special offer.  You can promote it in connection with a special event like a BBQ, spud run, taco feed, etc.  Be creative with whatever you decide to do to gather a group.  We know that most "youngsters" may not want to ride with "a bunch of old folks", but we can look toward the 30-40+ y/o and their families who may be wanting to join a bunch of fun- loving folks.

ALSO, we now have a full time Touring News editor who is hard at work to make some something of the TN but only with everyone's help.
Glenda & Jim Boggess, our new Public Relations & Touring News Directors
are always looking for pictures, articles, things of interest to you and the membership that is worth sharing and when we put out a call for such items/info, don't be bashful and please feel free to share with us all what's happening in your part of the riding world.  Their email address is:  [address removed]. Besides, we're always up for a ride to see what can be seen "or eaten" in every state/province we ride to.  Anyone know of the "best pie and ice cream stop"?

Any positive ideas for getting this organization "jumpin'", get it to us so we can put them into play or at least take a look at them for use.  Let's make the West set the pattern for growth by being out of the norm!

Got questions?  Call us!
